A few months ago, media reports were swirling that Dame Dash was on the brink of financial disaster. According to the reports, the hip hop mogul's fortune was being depleted by his lavish spending and a series of failed business ventures. But despite losing millions, Dame still had enough money to comfortably live out the rest of his life. That was, until a few weeks ago, when Dame learned that he would have to cough up close to $5M in back taxes or face time in jail.
Be on the lookout for OGO Oxygen rich water. They are selling it out in Paris in a few select spots. It's suppose to contain 35 times more oxygen than other products making it extremely lightweight. Lightweight? By having more oxygen means more energy and you feel the effects of hydration faster, I would think. Who knows, but If they start stocking it at the liquor store down the block I might scoop a bottle.
After over a years of major label courting from Interscope, Sony, Warner Bros, Atlantic and Universal, Minneapolis indie Hip Hop powerhouse Rhymesayers Entertainment and Atmosphere have opted to sign with WMG. Rhymesayers Entertainment signed a deal with Warner Music Group's Independent Label Group allowing this core entity in independent and/or alternative hip hop to:utilize various aspects of ILG's extensive network of sales, promotion and marketing resources to further promote its stable of cutting-edge artists. WMG's Alternative Distribution Alliance (ADA) will primarily handle distribution with select titles being distributed by WEA Corp.
According to a quote from Rhymesayers' Brent Sayers, the possibility also exists to "upstream artists to a WMG label while still playing an integral role in the artists' career."

As you might have heard, American Apparel founder Dov Charney, cashed out his sweat-shop free toting brand for $382.5 million. But worry not fellas, that in no way means the scantily clad women and pervy ads will be phased out anytime soon as you can plainly see from this new Stirrup Socks advertisement scanned by the Copyranter and featured on the back cover of the Village Voice. We’ve actually heard that Dov will remain on board for a while garnering himself a fat salary and ensuring at least a whole year of sleazy ads that we’ll gladly ogle.
